Club members go every year on a 5-day trip to Canada. There's always a group of 20 peeps going. Some people car pool, other people pay to take their bus which is two-way price. People who have their ski stuff can bring it along, or you can rent. The trip isn't closed off to only club members. If you wanna bring a friend or few that's perfectly fine.
We stay at a hotel which is right under the mountain, so all we do is take the GONDOLA up to the peak where you can either ski down the North side or South side.
The drinking age in Canada happens to be 18.
This YEAR when registering..............
Date: January 4-8, 2009... if anyone is car pooling for the first time, then we can leave from NB 7:30am

Don't worry about who to put as your roommates, you don't have to pay extra (but you can if you want) if you choose the 8 people per room, which is split by the people going from the club. We all decide room accommodations when we get there to Canada, so no worries now! No worries about the bus either, if you are not sure whether you will have a ride just don't pay for it now and around December LET ME KNOW if you still aren't sure about your ride because there are still seats on the bus.
DEADLINE FOR EARLY BIRD SPECIAL PRICE SEPTEMBER 28, 2008!!!!
Early Bird Price: $469
After Sept. 28: $539
Ski Rentals: $119
Roundtrip Bus: $149
The trip is really fun. I didn't go my first year and wish that I did. I'm a senior now and I don't care I'm still going in 2010.
Anyone can contact me (Patricia) at 908-943-2686 if you have any questions.
P.S. I am getting pamphlets in the mail by Saturday. I know Sunday is the 28. sucks.
Anyways, every year that I went they ended up extending the early bird special to Oct. 15. So I think that's what they are going to do this year.
Here is what one of the people from Ski Travel wrote me:
“The early sign up is currently Sept. 28. It may change depending on participation but the price may go up a little. Currently its Sept 28!”
